What P would look like with hair.
Meet the newest member of the Taylor family...Jack--the Pumpkin. And now for a runway show of this year's Halloween costumes.

It's all glitter and satin at the Taylor household as both A and P choose to be Princesses this year. Here P is displaying the "Snow Princess" costume

A.'s dreams will surely come true in this splendid Cinderella Princess costume that was provided compliments of her very own "Fairy Daddy"

Although P. ultimately opted to be a princess for Halloween rather than a baker, we thought this picture was just too delicious not to put on the blog.

Pics from a recent family trip into the Catalina Mountains.
Views of Tucson from the highway up to Mt. Lemmon Ski Resort.

Thanks Grandma Margaret for the fun gift package you sent us in the mail. Skirts and purses and fuzzy pencils--Oh my!
A.'s first day of pre-school. P. is in the shot simply because we couldn't get her to stand far enough away when we took it.

Just cause I don't have hair doesn't mean I can't accessorize.

P. takes her first ride on a skateboard at the family's 4th of July party. (If you couldn't tell already by the abundance of chlorophyll in the picture, we're in Utah. Arizona couldn't get that green even if Al Gore and the entire EPA were headquartered there.)
Mommy (newly blonde) and A. bundle up at an outdoor 4th of July concert because 85 degree weather is just too darn cold for us Tucsonites!

Villians of the world--Beware! It's the Pink Avengers!!

A. proudly displays her egg dying skills while P. tries to get the adhesive side of the decorative sticker to go the right direction.

"Now, if you stick your little tongue out like this, it helps get the sticker going the right way."

"Look, Mom! I know how to eat with a spoon!"

Taking more time, blood and possibly more curse words than the Empire State Building, handyman J. begins work on a sandbox for his little girls.
A. offers some helpful advice when she comes by to inspect the construction site.

One month, two trips to the gravel pit, and three dozen runs to Home Depot later...A. and P. have their very own sandbox. Thank you Daddy!!

After a miscommunication with a local hairdresser, K. comes home with a hair color that could only be described as "Radioactive Lemon." She was not pleased.

In desperation to rid herself of her nuclear tresses, K. does a complete 180 and colors her hair brown on New Year's Day. Many thanks to her sister Shellie for doing all the hard work.

A. is all smiles as she gets ready to blow out the candles on her "pink" birthday cake. She wore a pink dress and received a pink toy computer from our neighbors and surrogate grandparents, the Ross's. Happy 3 years old!

P. happily dangles Grandpa's glasses while she meets Santa at a family Christmas party.

I've been a good girl, Santa, I really, really have!

Our very own sugar plum fairy. Thank you Grandma Margaret for the lovely dress up clothes.

P. shows just how cute a little bald butterfly can be at our local library's Halloween Party

The girls recently received some adorable hair accessories from their Grandma. Here they are showing off their favorite new styles.

A. gets ready to build some sand castles in the backyard while Mommy pulls the weeds.

This is how P. likes to do yard work.

Ah, the dirndls Grandma Sue brought back from Germany live on to grace the toddler bodies of yet another generation.

Likewise, Grandma Sue's exquisite needle and ribbon work create the same adorable, cotton- candy perfection on P. as they did on her aunts and Mommy three decades earlier.

A. attempts to stay cool at the Sonoran Desert Museum--an beautiful desert zoo and garden in West Tucson. It was 101 degrees in the shade that day.

August is monsoon season in Arizona--huge microburst storms originated off the gulf of California roll through the region. Here, A. enjoys a romp in the rain.

Daddy and his girls!

A momentous occasion: Jay is mowing his own lawn for the first time (and after only minimal nagging from his wife, too).

Just too cute not to put on the blog.

It's summertime and that means our annual trip to Utah! Here is A. with cousins B. & K. looking kind-of fishy at the Aquarium playground in Salt Lake.

The two little patriots are dressed and ready for the Provo City Independence Day Parade. Thank you Grandma Margaret for the beautiful dresses!

A. is not quite sure she likes sparklers.

Now she's really sure she doesn't like sparklers.
For Memorial Day the Tucson Taylors decided to do some exploring in our new habitat. Here we are on the Sabino Canyon Trail. This trail is located in the foothills and mountains bordering the northeastern side of Tucson.
It was rather pretty...for a desert.
The little grease monkey helps her Daddy clean his bike.

But grease isn't the only thing she likes to smear on her face. Little miss A. is 100% girl, afterall.

Ride 'em peacocks! Our little cowgirl gallops off into adventure at the Reid Zoo.

"Baby fat!?! What baby fat?"

She wore an itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, yellow poka dot swim thing-y.

"That's right, just keep all the attention on cute little me!"
